The theme for our first annual RainforestAid09 festival is Choice. Help RainforestAid09 spread the word globally about how the impact of our lifestyle choices affects our planet. The festival exhibitors are encouraged to identify the choices that are not working for us and provide examples of winning solutions and alternatives that “Do” work and help to sustain culture and diversity. As an exhibitor we ask that your message focus on choices and alternatives to sustainable lifestyles and practices
Rainforests are the earth’s lungs and thermostat. National Geographic calls the rainforests of the Osa Peninsula “the most biologically intense place on earth With your help, we can raise awareness, increase the standard of living for local Costa Ricans, fund existing conservation and educational programs, and help stop habitat & cultural loss in “The Reserve.“ RainforestAid09 will increase rainforest awareness on a global scale, and empower guests, sponsors and partners to make better choices about nature and community. Help RainforestAid09 by sponsoring a booth or exhibit or booth during the festival.
