Rainforest Aid09 ~ 3 Nights Lodging & Festival Passes

We strongly suggest that you extend your stay with your lodge by 2 days in order to enjoy sights & sounds of the Osa. 3 day festival passes ($249) are only available at the eco lodges & hotels listed below and only when making reservations for a room directly with lodges or hotel listed below. Includes transportation to & from festival from San Jose/ Alajuela. Car pooling is mandatory for those renting vehicles in San Jose and driving to the festival. Including breakfast /coffee each day. 6-9 am. (2 options – June 15-22/ B June 17-24 ) Price includes transportation to & from festival. Guests renting cars in Alajuela and driving to the Osa will be encouraged to stock up on food items, beverages and rain gear prior to arriving to the Osa, and car pooling is mandatory ! Guest using our FREE transportation services or renting a car, will be required to stop at our Alajuela or Chacarita Information Booth prior to reaching festival grounds located near La Palma.

Guest will receive their concert welcome gift & important information about sustainability, car pooling, recycling, choices about waste, parking & camping instructions. Guest choosing to purchase 7 Day Festival Pass with On-Site Camping Pass are encouraged to use our free bus and shuttle services to and from the festival. Parking is free for Car Poolers and vehicles helping to transport staff, materials, equipment & recycled materials. 

Camping & Parking

RainforestAid09 supports and encourages you to choose to car pool and camp. Camping is permitted inside festival site and is limited to the first 1000 Festival Camping Passes sold. Showers, recycling areas, and composting toilet facilities available on site. Camping pass includes breakfast & coffee from 6-9 am. Parking is FREE for campers and car poolers that register in RainforestAid09 Information Center located in Alajuela or Chacarita. 

Additional Information

Safety and Security

Volunteers from the local hospital, police, MINAE,( forest service ) will be available at festival site for any injuries, emergencies and basic needs. There will also be emergency transportation services available in the event of an emergency. Our bamboo childcare & day care pavilion will be available for child care services during the festival for a small fee.

Health Food and Water

Potable water will be available within the festival site, and in the camp ground. Showers and composting toilets will also be available at festival. For those guest purchasing Homestay or Camping Passes, it is a requirement that you register at our Alajulah or Chacarita Information booth. There you will find valuable information regarding accommodations, camping, parking, travel and road conditions.

Travel and Transportation

Remember transportation is free when you buy your Homestay and Camping Festival Pass. Comfortable buses will bring you to and from the festival ( 6-8 hr. bus ride w/ lunch stop ) Guests choosing to rent  a cars are encouraged to Car Pool, and are required to register in Alajulah at our Information Booth. There will be RainforestAid09 volunteers stationed in San Isidro, Dominical, and Chacarita to provide valuable information and road side assistance both coming and going to the festival.
